FORMER ISA detainee Mat Sah Mohd Satray may have thanked his lucky stars at having been released from the Kamunting camp ahead of the Aidilfitri festivities but he is still far from a being a completely free man due to several restrictions on his movement, similar to the parole system used in the US.

Taiping (Malaysia), May 10 : Three Hindu Right Action Force leaders along with other 10 detainees held under the Internal Security Act (ISA) in Malaysia were released from the Kamunting detention camp.

PORT KLANG, May 9 (Bernama) — The release of 13 Internal Security Act (ISA) detainees today, including the three Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) leaders, had nothing to do with calls to abolish the Act, Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said today.
